In its recent 88th Expression of Interest draw on 23rd April, 2020 the Canadian province of Manitoba issued a total of 132 Letters of Advice to Apply under its Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. Out of this, a total number of 93 Letters of Advice to apply were just issued to skilled workers in Manitoba. The ranking score of the lowest ranking applicant in this draw was 489.
The MPNP for skilled workers is driven based on the local labour requirements of the Manitoba employers, wherein internationally skilled overseas workers are chosen for their skills and talent and how well it can be utilized in the local market.
These workers are then nominated for permanent residence in Canada, so that they can live and work here. Another stream of this Canada PNP is International Education stream, under which a total of 14 Letters of Advice to Apply have been issued, whereas the skilled worker stream witnessed the issuance of a total number of 25 Letters of Advice to Apply. These applicants were directly issued invitations for Canada immigration by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative with a ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate of 714.
Also, out of this 132 Letters of Advice to Apply, in this recently conducted draw, a total number of 7 were issued to applicants, who have who declared a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code.
Please keep in mind that Expressions of Interest from Skilled Worker Overseas applicants will not be taken in to consideration unless they are directly issued an invitation under a under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative. Also, if you are invited under an Express Entry sub stream your application for Canada PR will be refused unless you have a valid Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code.
